About Me
Allison DiBianca Fasoli earned her Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of Chicago, specializing in psychology and anthropology. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Clinical Psychology from Saint Michael’s College and a Coaching certificate in Wellness Coaching from Emory University. She has also received training in Academic Coaching from Landmark College and in teaching Scholarly Writing through the University of Chicago’s Writing Program.
Allison has over a decade of experience as a former faculty member in psychology. She is a nationally funded (e.g., NSF, Spencer Foundation), mixed- methods researcher who has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and previously an Associate Editor of Applied Developmental Science.
Drawing on her expertise in psychology, Allison’s coaching process is informed by decades of experience researching and teaching about concepts related to learning processes, motivation, decision-making, self-concepts and identity, and theories of human growth and development.
As a coach, Allison has facilitated workshops and developed courses and trainings on writing productivity and sustainability, research branding, impostor experiences, scholarly writing, early-career success, and networking.
